12/4/08 will be the day October powder perform at the Williamstown festival but the day will hold special significance in honour of Matthew McCarthy’s grandmother who passed away from breast cancer this week.

A Williamstown/Newport resident most of her life the performance will be dedicated to the memory of Matthew’s grandmother.

The National breast cancer Foundation has come on board and we will be selling Pink ribbon pins & rubber wrist bands,
Also $1 from every October powder CD we sell will be donated to Breast cancer research.

So Make sure you come down and Support us to help celebrate the life & pay tribute to not only Matthew’s grandmother but the countless others who have been affected by Breast cancer.

Hello October powder dudes & dudettes

so we have some news, WE ARE BREAKING UP……..nah just kidding
but we have some new demo recordings up
the songs "average man" & "generation hate"
so we like to hear some feed back on them.

Q"can u guys play a gig near my house"
A:geez it hard enough getting gigs let alone in a specific area,

so just leave a comment and we’ll take note where u want us to play and we’ll try get some show happening we can’t please everyone sorry but we damn well will try!
maybe our friends front counter might come along too,

Q:"Do you guys have t-shirt"
A:not yet we will soon hopefully we have all the bells and whistles
t-shirts,stickers,badges & spanking paddles etc etc
hopefully something will be avilable soon probaby by willi fest.

Q:"you said we can get a pair of keds of u guys whats the deal"
A:yes we said that but u have to be patient, we’ll have some announcements
regarding that and our EP in mid april but it will be worth the wait kids

Q:"Matt take your shirt off"
A:NO!……maybe later….. OK

Q"can u guys play at my birthday"
A: most likely yes but it can’t be for free
contact us about a fee but u have to get the OK
from you parents before hand if u live with them.

A:yes learn the song now Only one person can play the song per show
So dont get up set if u miss out because there will be others
